Suzanne Leonard Art
Suzanne Leonard is a California native. Born in San Francisco, she grew up in Berkeley, CA and graduated from College with a degree in Psychology. Her interest in art was cultivated by her father, an avid art collector, who took her to galleries and museums from a young age. For the most part, she is a self-taught artist. Her work has been exhibited at Hearst Gallery, Diablo Valley College, and Fairfield Civic Arts. She has illustrated three cookbooks for Easy Banana Productions of San Francisco. Her work has been featured on the covers of Anvil Magazine, The Chronicle of the Horse, Stable News, and Tack in the Box Catalog. She has done illustrations for Horse!, Your Dog, and Catnip, Tuft’s University newsletters.
Suzanne’s goal is to capture the personality and character of the people and animals that she paints.
